Obituary of Edeltraut Scheffler-Plath

Peacefully just two days shy of her 96 ½ birthday, Edeltraut “Eddy” Liebgart Scheffler Plath passed away at St. Lawrence Lodge. Loving mother of Harry (Joyce) Plath of Lyn. Cherished grandmother of Debby (Steve) Greffe and Craig (Tammy) Plath. Treasured great grandmother of Daniel Greffe, Breanne (Christian) Pedersen and Joshua Plath. She was predeceased by her great grandson Zachary Plath and her siblings Helmut Ammer, Oswald Plath and Herta Marinenfeldt. Edeltraut was a published author and poet; she was a talented artist and was very active for numerous years in the community theatre. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.  

Family will receive friends at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Garden in Toronto on Monday August 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Edeltraut, donations to the CNIB and St. Lawrence Lodge would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
