It was a big shock to us that Muriel died.
Your mother was a great woman and warm personality who always had a lot of attention and warmth for others.
She gave Mike very nice and happy years and when we were allowed to meet her in Holland for the first time in 1986, there was a good click immediately and a very nice contact.
For 32 years we have been able to meet Muriel and later keep in touch via telephone, mail and with photos.
The last time we spoke to her was in May with my birthday. She then called and told about the trouble with walking and her hands. She always enjoyed it when we emailed photos and we also often got one back.
The conversations always showed how proud she was of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
It was a great privilege to have known her for so long

Muriel will always keep a special place in our memories, and it was a great privilege to have known her.
We wish you much strength Friday at the funeral and will be with you in your thoughts.
