Mrs. Marcelle Mélanie VANDENDRIES, born Marcelle THEYS in Koekelberg (Bruxelles, BELGIUM) on May 22, 1922 died on October 30, 2018 at her home in Brockville (Canada).
She was preceded by her husband, Doctor Corneille Frederic (Freddy) VANDENDRIES (doctor in Chemical Sciences, A.C.Br.)
Mother in law of Mr. Paul VANDENDRIES and Mrs. Micheline TRIGAUX (Doctor André TRIGAUX), both in Belgium, she leaves behind her grandchildren Serge TRIGAUX (Karine) and Marge VANDENDRIES, her great grandchildren Camille, Iris. Neyder (children of Serge TRIGAUX) and Quentin, Robin, Tabatha (children of Christine TRIGAUX deceased), and Andréa (son of Marge VANDENDRIES), all in Belgium, as well as her dear friend Marie-Hélène BOUILLOT (Brockville)
President and Board Member of numerous associations in Brockville, Montreal and Brussels, she will be very missed by her numerous friends in Belgium and Canada
Friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, for the Funeral Liturgy to be Celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday November 3rd, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. immediately followed by a reception. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Brockville. In memory of Mrs. Marcelle Vandendries, donations to the Brockville May Court would be appreciated by family.
