Roy C. Charlton aged 87 years, at the Brockville General Hospital after a brief illness, on Friday April 18, 2008. Roy is survived by his wife, Barbara (Milbank), his son Rodney (Bonnie) of Brockville his daughter Madeleine (Nick Cheesman) of Pickering and his sister-in-law, Grace Charlton of Epsom, Surrey, UK. He was the proud grandfather of Erica Charlton (Dan McNeil) of Athens, Andrea Charlton of Vancouver, and Tim Cheesman of Calgary. Roy was a veteran of WWII, and an enthusiastic member and supporter of the Brockville Flying Club. A Visitation from 12 noon until 1 p.m. will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday April 26, 2008. A Celebration of Roy's Life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Donations to the War Amps of Canada, or a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
