Obituary of William Hallett

With saddened hearts on January 19, 2019 with family by his side, we announce the passing of William “Bill” Hallett at the age of 68. Loving husband of Rosemarie Hallett. Treasured father of Kimberly (Jason) Welburn, Kelly Hallett (Keith Francis) and Joseph (Filomena) Hallett. Proud Papa Bear of Cody Francis, Keitha Quigley, Paige Welburn and Aydyn Hallett and great grandpa to Tyson Mercier. Dear brother to Jim (Helene) Hallett and Mary Hallett Lenio (Verne Tomlinson). He is predeceased by his parents William and Mabel Hallett. Bill’s love for hockey hunting, automobiles, motorcycles and the great outdoors were known to all.  Bill was known as a strong man who succeeded in all that he took on. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew him. His greatest accomplishment was his family with his one and only true love, his wife Rosemarie.

Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Wednesday January 23, 2019 from 12-2 & 5-8 p.m. Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10:00am on Thursday January 24, 2019. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Queen’s University – Dr. Booth’s Research and St. Francis Xavier Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
