Very sorry to hear about Barb.
She was a very kind soul and so caring and compassionate. She was definitely well suited to her chosen profession of nursing.
She told me once that if she ever won the lottery, she would like to build a home and care for everyone.
I met Barb when my mom was a resident at Sherwood Park Manor. Later I engaged her to help with mom when I could not be present. Over that period we became good friends. It gave me such peace of mind to know she was helping with her care. She was with us until the end & I will be forever grateful.
My sincere condolences.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Barb while working at Sherwood Park Manor. She impressed me with her excellent work ethics and her compassion for all our residents, not just her clients. She will remain in my thoughts as an awesome lady and I am blessed to have known her. Judy

Barb was a wonderful person; always greeting with a big smile and asking about others; never complaining about herself. Her concern for others would have made her a terrific hospital nurse although I didn’t know her in that capacity, only as a private caregiver in several instances. She was loved by all.
My condolences to Ray and all the family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom.. she was a very strong women and a rock In her family .Everytime we spent our summer holidays in Brockville we spent time with barb. She always made time for me and my family. I had the pleasure of being invited to stay at Darlene and chucks a few years ago on my way across canada.. when she hear i was visiting she came down to see me. She always called me Newfie. At that time i was a X son in law . That didn’t matter to barb and ray because barb always loved me. She walked in to Darlene s and said hi Newfie and I gave her the biggest hug. I know deep down she always loved me and that day the hug was no drifferense than all the hugs all the years before. I will remember that day and that hug. Love you Barb
