Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Thursday March 27, 2008. The former Ellen Jean White of Rockport age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Tom Massey. Dear mother of Karolyn Massey of Lansdowne, Kathy Massey and her friend Rob of Gananoque and Rev. Dan Massey and his wife Ann of Oxford Mills. Loving Nana of Connie Rawlyk (Chris), Heidi Randall (Craig), Lincoln Currie (Amber), Jared Massey, Evan Massey, Leah Randall as well as great grandchildren Connor Harkey, Hannah Rawlyk and Riley Boyce. Sister of Wilbert White and his wife Freda of Lansdowne. Survived by sisters-in-law Harriet Mayhew and Nadine Henshaw (Bill "Sonny") all of Gananoque. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jean will be missed by her companion and faithful friend "Rosco". Predeceased by her parents Charles Lester White and his wife Maydalene Vickery White. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday March 30, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
