Peacefully, with his family and beloved dogs by his side after a courageous battle with cancer at his residence in Mallorytown, on Friday June 6, 2008. Eugene (Gene) Joseph Martin of Mallorytown, age 60 years. Beloved husband of Joan Marie (Gabriel) Martin. Dear father of Paul Martin of Niagara Falls. Loving Poppy to Tristyn Vaughan of Brampton. Son of Thelma (Ferguson) Martin of Mallorytown. Also survived by brothers Jean Paul Martin and Alfred Martin of Brockville, several sisters-in-law and their families, mother-in-law Loretta Gabriel and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father Rene Martin. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday June 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. Private family Interment will be at a later date.
