Obituary of David Brian Thompson

Entered into rest at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Monday August 26th, 2019. David Thompson of Brockville aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Adrienne Hodgson and Michaela Martish. Loving father to Susan Sabourin (Rick) and Stephen Thompson (Linda) and step-father to Michaela McLeod and family. Cherished Grandad to Erika, Andrew, Jason, Emily, Sherron, Kyle and Conor and Great Grandad to Reed, Ryan and Elissa. Remembered by special niece Diane Howe (Dermot) and nephews Brian and David Collinson. David will be deeply missed by best friend Bill Brown. David is predeceased by a grandson Ryan, step son William Brown and a sister Margaret. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday August 30th, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held in the chapel on Saturday August 31st, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  In memory of David, donations to the the Canadian Cancer Society or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96 would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
