As a teenager, I had just had a growth spurt. There were 12 water jugs that just arrived and are in the basement needing to be moved to the car. thinking I was strong, I pick one up put it on my shoulder as many of my cousins watched, too weak to help. As I'm walking up the stairs proudly, I hear PawPaw from behind say "Hang hoy lah!"/ "Get out of the way!" and she has a water jug in each hand running up the stairs, as my cousins all laugh and cheer loudly. she was our hero, even in that moment of embarrassment, I respected her strength and incredible will.
