Obituary of Lyle Trevor Greer

Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Friday September 13th, 2019. Lyle Greer of Brockville, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (Hough) Greer. Loving father of Donald Greer (Heather), Cathy Earle (Allan), Brenda Ferguson (Tom) and Sandra Miles all of Brockville. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Shawn), Chris (Mahsa), Samantha (Brian), Erin (Nathan), Katie, Thomas, Evan and Ryan. Dear son of the late Roy and Georgina (Carr) Greer; and brother of the late Gwen Curran (Hanna), Clarence and Lawrence Greer. Also missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday September 17th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.. St. James Masonic Lodge No. 74 A.F. & A.M. will hold a Masonic Memorial Service on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home, all sister lodges are welcome to attend. In memory of Lyle, donations to the Manhard United Church or St. James Masonic Lodge would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
