Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Tuesday May 6, 2008. Floyd Lawrence Young of Brockville age 81 years. Beloved husband of the former Jean Eyre and the late Ethel Gardiner. Dear father of Douglas Young of Cornwall, Robert Young of Oshawa, Beth Young of Kingston and Marilyn Young of Brockville, grandfather of Malachi. Step-father of Debra Michel (Corey) of Athens and Tom Carson (Anita) of Cambridge, also survived by a step-grandson Mark, a brother Glen Young (Fern) of Sudbury as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack Young and his wife Madeline Jackson and a sister Geraldine Boyd. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday May 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakalnd Cemetery.
