Obituary of John Gerritsen

Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street  Site on Monday, December 9, 2019. Beloved husband of Carol Anne (Beckstead) Gerritsen. Loving father of Mark John Gerritsen. John is survived by his sister Anneliese Gerritsen (Terry) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gerritt and Elisabeth (Kremers) Gerritsen, and brothers Peter and Herman Gerritsen. 

Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Friday December 13, 2019 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment and Graveside Service to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Reception following back at Barclay's Funeral Home. In memory of John, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
