Peacefully entered into rest at the Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville on Monday February 10th, 2020. Hubert Birtch of Brockville aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Simpson) Birtch. Loving father of Jeffrey and his wife Wendy Birtch of Brockville. Cherished grandpa of Susan Smith (Matt) of Georgetown, Laurie Church (Derek) of Ottawa and Curtis Birtch (Lauren) of Lyn; and big grandpa of William, Michael, Riley, Maxine and Abbie. Dear brother of Roger Birtch (Barb) and the late Edgar, Gwen, Geraldine, Gareth, Everett, Bryce and Beverley. Son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Root) Birtch. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday February 14th, 2020 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
