- IN GOD’S CARE - Our beloved dad, Bernie Amyotte passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, surrounded by his family. We wish you enough sun to keep your day bright. We wish you enough rain to appreciate the sunny days more. We wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. We wish you enough hellos to get through the final goodbyes. Bernie is survived by his daughters, Heather Duffy (Michael), Catherine Kelly and Marilyn Morley (Vic Reid). He was cherished Poppa to his Grandchildren Dayna Kenney and Matthew Kenney (Nicole McInerney), Charley, Kara and Robbie Kelso, Dustin Kelly (Laura), Christina and Kayla Morley, Shane and Sarah Amyotte, and Mikaela Clucas (Dylan); Great grandchildren Shelby and Dunavin Terry, Maddox and Eli Kelso and Grayson Kelly. Bernie is predeceased by his wife Fay Leona Amyotte, Daughter Barbara Amyotte and Son David Amyotte; his 6 elder siblings – 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Bernie was a lifetime avid fisherman and will be always remembered for his fishing stories that often were bigger than the fish he caught. He was proud of his family and was always active in their daily lives. We are blessed to have shared our lives with you Dad and so very grateful that we had all these years together. A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Interment Lyn Cemetery, LYN, Ontario. We, the Amyotte Family appreciate donations be made to V.O.N. Assisted Living Program, Brockville ON. and The Day Hospice Program – Palliative Care- Garden Street Site, Brockville, ON.
