Peacefully entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge, with family by her side, on Saturday April 4th, 2020. Ina was in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Loft. Devoted mother to Cynthia Walsh (George) of Whitby, Douglas Magee, Kevin Magee (Debbie), and Tony Riches (Carlotta) all of Ottawa. Loving step-mom to Denise Loft (Brian Culbert) of Toronto and Glenn Loft of Surrey, BC. Cherished grandmother to Joseph, Jonathan, Jenna, Christopher, Shannon, Emily, Matthew, Brianna, Cody, and Spencer and proud great-grandmother to Laila, Maggie, Charles, Avery and Fiona. Dear sister to Gordon Daw (Blanche) of Cardinal and Marion McKay of Brockville. Sadly, missed by many nieces and nephews, of special mention her niece Susan Daw of Cardinal was a frequent visitor and dear friend. Ina is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Bessie (Sayeau), brothers Alfred, Denzil, Dwayne, and Carl and sister Dorothy. Ina had a long and dedicated career with the Royal Bank of Canada and worked in many small town to large city branches throughout Ontario. Ina and Harry had a wonderful retirement together with summers at their cottage home in Wasaga Beach and winters at Seahorse Park in St. Pete’s, Florida. They spent their last happy years in their condo at Ashley Estates in Brockville. She was a vibrant, social, fun-loving lady who will be fondly remembered by many friends far and near. A special thank you to the staff at Bridlewood Manor and St. Lawrence Lodge for the kind and compassionate care that Ina received as her health failed in the last couple years.
