Peacefully with her family by her side at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston on Monday April 7, 2008. The former Evellena Powell of Lansdowne age 66 years. Dear mother Penny Powers (David), Gerald Baker (Donna Marie) all of Lansdowne, Kathy Fernetich of Gananoque and Larry Baker (Jamie Murray) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Stefanie, Bradley, Amanda, Taylor, Paige, Jade, Marissa, Jarred and Dawson. Sister of Earl Powell (Barb), Madeline Wood (Alan), Francis Powell (Rosie), Raymond Powell (Ester), Margaret Cook (Warren), Vera Seymour (Doug) and Bertha Olsen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary (Nash) Powell, 5 brothers Herb, Howard, Art, Leland and Clarence and 3 sisters Anne, Rose and Katherine. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday April 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, Escott.
