Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday June 21, 2020. Gerald Charles Deir of Lyn aged 71 years. Loving dad of Tracey James (late Colin ) of Scotland and Paul Deir (Alison) of Brockville. Proud Grandpa of Michaela Wall (Jeff), Evan Deir and Rory James. Cherished brother of Ann Whaley (Bob), Marie Trickey (Wayne Woods) and Helen Deir all of Brockville. Gerry is also survived by his common law spouse Joanne Baynham as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Rosemary (Flood) Deir, brothers Ronald Flood, Patrick Deir, Raymond Deir, Brother-in-law Murray Trickey and nieces Bailey Brooke Zaveda and Christina Trickey. In compliance with current Health and Public Safety Directives, there will not be a public Celebration of Gerry’s Life at this time. A Private Graveside Service will take place at St. James Cemetery, Ballycanoe. In memory of Gerry, donations to St. James Cemetery, Ballycanoe would be appreciated by the family.
