Dear McCracken Family:
I remember your beloved Francis from my second grade class at Douglas Haig school in Brockville. It was 1949 and Francis was beautiful even then, with her blond ringlets and her white hair bow in our class picture. Over the past 70 years I wondered where my school mates moved on to and when I saw Francis' picture today in the local paper, she wasn't too far away in Portland, and my heart went out to all of her family on her recent passing.
The scripture in John 5:28 &29 immediately came to my mind as that hope of a future resurrection for all of our loved ones is a promise we can rely on as it comes from the most reliable source of all, our Creator himself. ( Isaiah 55:11&12)
If you would like me to send you a copy of our 2nd. Grade class picture, I would be happy to send it on to you.
May you all have peace as you reflect on happy memories of Francis, your loving Mom and Gramma.
With sincere sympathy,
Joyce Dupuis (nee Hurlbert).

Frances loved her family and friends and her beloved pet, Maggie. She loved being a Granny. I was a nanny to Abby and Grace so Frances and I shared a connection of love for these young ladies. I would walk to Fran’s on the parkway with the girls when they were little for a visit and Fran also stopped in to have a chats. Fran, I will do my best to love Abby and Grace for both of us.
