Our time together goes back as far as grade 3 and we have been good buddies ever since. Lasting memories were made with plentiful laughs. We built things, fixed things ,learned when we broke things . Terry was a bit of a prankster; he loved a good laugh. This leads me to a fond memory . He was our best man at the wedding . Terry was not a man to dress up and the clock on the wall was of little importance. The wedding began but why did Terry's suit look like something was wrong . He stood at the head table , started his speech and instantly captured everyone's attention. He acknowledged that he needed to be on time, he rolled up his suit sleeves and amazed the crowd displaying numerous watches on each arm. Laughter broke out as he continued to pull out an ALARM clock from that suit . The hall roared in laughter. He said he knew he had to make a toast to the wedding party and with that said, he literally pulled out pieces of toast and handed them out. He said his job was done, On time and the toast was made. We will miss him.
