We are sorry to hear of Boyd's passing. We enjoyed his company at lawn bowling during the summer months. He was a real athlete and a good sport. From the Brockville Lawn Bowling Club

I was so sorry to hear of your dads passing . Boyd coached me in ladies softball for few years and his love of the game was always evident. But he loved his family more ..he talked about his wife Marg snd his children Brian and Liz . A special memory was a get together Boyd snd Marg had at their home for the team and families . The last visit I had with Boyd snd marg was a 50th anniversary hosted in their home by their children .. it was evident how many people loved them by the people that dropped by to give them anniversary wishes.. love and prayers to you Brian snd the entire Halliday family

Dear Brian,
My sincere condolence to you of your dad’s passing.
Boyd certainly enjoyed sports; especially ladies fastball and hockey. I enjoyed the many conversations that Boyd and I had on and off the field. Boyd was a great ambassador for Ladies Fastball.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
