On February 9, 2021, after a lengthy illness, Don Urquhart passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Wellington House LTC in Prescott at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Kathy Urquhart (Slate) of 61 years. Loving father of Mark Urquhart (Shelley) of Meaford, Ontario, Marty Urquhart (Kim) of Brockville. Cherished Grandfather of Christopher Urquhart (Heather) of Brockville, Mitchell Urquhart of Kingston, Alexandra Urquhart and Rory Urquhart of Brockville. Great Grandfather of Grady Urquhart of Brockville. Son of the late Leonard Urquhart and Grace (Adams) and is survived by two sisters, Florence Hutton of Prescott and Ruth Betsworth of Brockville. Don is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care for their care and kindness as well as the staff at Wellington House Prescott, the LHIN and the Bayshore Services for all their compassion and kindness shown to Don and his family over these last few years.
