Dear Carol, Peter and Marc, I am deeply saddened for your loss. I have known Armand for over 45 years, starting with DeVry, then Automatic Electric, Microtel, & BrockTel. Worked on telecom installations throughout the west with Armand and enjoyed good times skiing, socializing and playing tourist. (The Tofino Winnebego trip was legendary!) Armand always had a smile on his face and would go out of his way to say hi and make you feel special with his quick-witted sense of humour. I was privileged to spend time with him both on the phone and in person these past couple of weeks. He maintained his optimistic outlook on life and was very proud of his boys. We have lost one of the good guys! Luv ya Brother!

I have had the privilege and pleasure to play hockey with Armand, to work with Armand and to socialize with Armand. They were fond times and I will miss him. We talked several times on the phone before his passing and I will remember his courage to just talk about the pleasant things. I am thankful I was able to express my appreciation for his friendship, as emotionally as I was.

Dear Carol, Peter, Marc and family,
We are so sorry for the loss of a wonderful man, husband and father. I will forever remember his warm and welcoming smile any time we got together. With his engaging approach and wry sense of humour, he made friends wherever he went and became a loyal and true friend to countless of those he met. You always knew where you stood with Armie as you knew that what he said was what he believed. On our old-timers team, his smart, focused and relentless play reflected how he approached every task, job and role he tackled in life. We miss you Armie - skate like the wind..

I am deeply saddened to hear of Armand's passing. As his High School teacher and Hockey Coach, I will always remember Armand as a gifted Academic student and as a heady , skillful hockey player. He was inducted into the Minto Sports Wall of Fame as a member of the 1973-76 Minto High Tigers Hockey Team I attended the Eastern Canadian Junior "A" Championship hosted by Brockville in 1997. Armand was at the arena every day and we spent hours reminiscing .He impressed me how family oriented he was and how proud he was of his children's' accomplishments .I also noted how he never forgot his Minto roots and the strong support he received from his Mom & Dad as well as his sister and 4 brothers. He will be missed.

Carol it's very difficult for me to put my emotions into words. I cannot tell you enough how very sorry I am with your
loss of Armand. A dedicated father, brother and husband who was respected by all who truly knew him. We worked together
for many years at Automatic Electric and all the name changes thereafter. I sincerely enjoyed the great times Armand & I had
playing fastball at Kelly's Park or hockey together over all those years at the Memorial Centre. As you Know Carol, I spoke to Armand over the telephone just this past Saturday at your home. It was a 20 minute conversation about "the good ole days"
which gave us a lot of laughs and "remember when ?" I am so thankful that I made that call. Not once did he complain to me the pain or issues he was going through over the last several months. Never thinking of himself but how truly thankful he was for you Carol being "his rock" by his side all through all his sickness. Goodbye my friend. I hear Heaven has a a hockey team and they are looking for players. Something tells me he's already playing & smiling down on us. A life well lived. We all will miss him.

It is with shock and sadness I heard of Armand's passing . He was just a great role model growing up. He was intelligent and a great athlete . I remember him being the smaller member of the first line of the Minto Tigers . His toughness and agility was his forte . I remember he also being into windsurfing and sailed from Libbys beach to Sunnyside beach at Grand lake during one of his visits. He will be remembered fondly with great deal of respect. In an opening exercise during training with Young Drivers of Canada years ago, I was sitting next to Armand who through direct introduction informed me, he was from a small place in New Brunswick, he wasn't sure I would have ever heard of called MINTO .. I asked if he had ever known some Lad's named TEES who were cousin's of mine from Minto no less and with a somewhat shocked expression he answered back "Kevin Tees is my best friend" ...Needless to say - any friend of Kevin's...a friend of mine... for the duration of the course - I pal'ed around with Armand and we participated in various aspects of the course together... A memory to this day that brings a smile... My Cousin Kevin sent me notice yesterday concerning Armand's passing, and we are all Saddened by this news. Please accept our condolences to everyone effected by the loss of such a fine fellow.. RIP Armand... So glad to have had the privilege of meeting and studying together
