It is with great sadness the family of Joan Moffatt announces her passing after a long illness on March 8, 2021, at the age of 79 years with her son by her side. Joan, who had a strong faith in God, will be lovingly remembered by her son, Greg Moffatt (Nicola Sinclair). Joan was predeceased by her parents, Elma (nee Perrin) & William Bath and sister, Donna Dochstader (nee Bath). A native of Brockville, Joan worked at Universal Abrasives and part-time at OK Economy for many years. She spent the end of her career working at the LCBO between the Brockville and Prescott stores, with her last 3 years as manager at the Cardinal store. Joan's hobbies included being a member of the Brockville Lioness Club, working in her beautiful gardens, traveling to sunny destinations, camping at Wilson's and Singleton Lake. Special thanks to Bruce and Shirley Benton and to all the staff at the Brockville General Hospital's Palliative Care Unit. Memorial donations in memory of Joan can be made to Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit, Brockville, Ontario. Due to Covid restrictions there will be no service at this time. A "Celebration of Life" will be held in the future.
