Dear Kathy and Reil Family,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Robin. For the past years throughout university and into my early career, I have frequently considered how lucky I was to have worked with and learned from Robin on the CDSBEO Board of Trustees. He was such an incredible, intelligent and wonderful person, who will be greatly missed by the people and communities he dedicated so much of his life to serving. My parents and I still often talk about the many laughs we shared on our trip to St. John's and how much Robin and Kathy made that trip as fun as it was. Memories such as that we will hold closely to our hearts, always.
Thinking of you and your whole family during this time -- sending you all love and prayers.

I'm extremely saddened on learning of Robin's passing. His family, including his parents and brothers, were good neighbours when we both had cottages at the Rideau Lake near the Ferry. I'd known Robin for at least 65 years. He left us far too young. My sincere condolences to Kathy and all the rest of his family.

Kathy and family my deepest sympathy on the passing of Robin. When I was the OPP public service officer here in Westport and visited his school, St Edwards, we always talked about the Montreal Canadians and the pass teams. He encouraged the OPP to attend his school whenever possible. He had a great sense of humor and related to his student in a positive manner. My daughter Jenny always talks about him and how he related to her class many years ago.
I have met Robin at the Chappie open and many times at funeral mass here in Westport. He was always up beat and positive.
May he rest in peace.
Jim McGlade

Dear Kathy and family,
I will always remember Robin as a person who promoted our Catholic faith no matter where you saw him. I quite remember his promotion for any initiative the Board might be doing at the St. John Elementary/High School retired staff breakfast club in Perth. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to share any good news stories.

Mrs Reil and family,
Robin seemed a fine man to me. Prior to the last election, at your door, he said, as I recall, that Toniata and JL Jordan were great schools, as you living there should know. Later we met for coffee and immediately agreed to collaborate for the mutual benefit of these schools when and if we could. He came across as a good example to me of how a Trustee might act. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Dear Kathy, Claudette and I send you and your family our sincere condolences during this most stressful time. Robin has left us with so many memories and pet sayings over the years that we will never forget him. Having had many opportunities to share our thoughts on education, I know and appreciate the level of devotion he brought to the Trustee table. Likewise, students across Lanark Leeds and Grenville will always remember the enthusiasm he brought to the class room.
God bless,
Ron Eamer
