Peacefully entered into rest on Thursday April 8th, 2021 at the Brockville General Hospital. Esther (nee Vernon) Cirne of Brockville aged 81years. Beloved wife of the late Raul Cirne. Loving mother of Raul G. (Kim) of Sydenham, Stuart (Terrie) of Lyndhurst and David (Joyce) of Cobourg. Cherished grandmother of her eight grandchildren: Alyssa, Eric, Christopher, Colin, Stanley, Benjamin, Victoria, & Brian; and great granddaughter Ariel. Predeceased by her parents, Eric and Kathleen (Estill) Vernon. Survived by her brothers David (the late Olga) and Phillip (Pauline) Vernon; also, numerous nephews, nieces, & cousins throughout the world. An avid dancer from her days in the Flixton Youth Club, she shared her love for dance by taking every opportunity to dance with Raul and to participate in local line dancing activities. Many babies born at BGH went home with a sweater set knit with care by Esther. Due to the COVID restrictions, a private family service will be planned. In memory of Esther donations to Diabetes Canada would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. A special thanks to the staff at Brockville General Hospital for their care over the last few months.
