Peacefully in his 86th year at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street site on Sunday June 22, 2008 surrounded by family and prayer. Joseph Bertrand Donovan devoted husband of 53 years to Noreen (Traynor). Will be greatly missed by children Barbara Pullaw (Todd) of Gananoque, Bernie (Jo-Anne) of Escott, Mike of Kingston, Mark (Alex) of Toronto, Marlene Maloney (Jim) of Maitland, Joanne Brennan (Ed) of Kanata and Mary of Escott. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly Pullaw (Michael Delaney), Amy Stevens (Brent), Tim Pullaw, Kevin Donovan (Connie Porteous), Kelly Forbes (Michael), Sarah Donovan (Mike Clark), Katie, Amanda, Jennifer and Jeffrey Donovan, Kirk and Brooke Donovan, Courtney Donovan, Maureen and Kathleen Brennan. Great grandfather to Hannah and Findley Delaney and Ryan Forbes. Also survived by a sister in law Pat Donovan of Brockville and several nieces and nephews as well Joseph will be missed dearly by the Traynor family. predeceased by his parents Albert (Bert) Donovan and his wife Winnifred Ronan Donovan, sisters Madeline Lynch (Gus), Doreen Nuttal (Earl), Betty Bradford (Howard) and brothers Jack Donovan and Bernard Donovan. Family and friends may call at the Barclay, 1033 Prince Street Lansdowne on Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. Brendan's Church, Rockport on Thursday June 26th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Brendan's Cemetery.
