We sadly announce the death of our dear Father Brian Martin on June 22, 2021 in Kingston Ontario. He died peacefully, after years of ill health, returning home to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, his best friend Jesus. Father Brian served for five years at Saint Patrick’s in Montreal followed by thirty years as Chaplin with the Montreal Catholic School Commission. Father Brian was the pastor of Saint Jude’s Parish in Hawkesbury, Ontario for three years. He served as President of the Benedict Labre House for a year and was co-founder of Montreal Harvest. Father Brian leaves behind his faithful companion along the way for thirty-six years Kathleen Crosby, her children Matthew (Melissa) James and Kate (Jeremy) and grandchildren Justin, Tea, Isaac, Bree, Rhyaan, Leia, Elizabeth, Hunter, and Braydon. He is survived by three cousins Suzanne, Pauline and Lise and their children. Father Brian made friends everywhere he went and leaves too many to mention. He brought the spirit of generosity and love to all of us who were fortunate to have known him. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Monday June 28th, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday June 29th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. John Bosco Parish at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
