Peacefully entered into rest, with Sheila by her side, at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday July 30, 2021. Reta (Newans) Hess of Brockville age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Hess. Loving mother of Sheila Hess (Dave Lenfesty) of Bath. Cherished grandma of Cody and Tabitha Blair and Liam Sweezey. Dear daughter of the late Ezra and Pearl (Shannon) Newans; and sister of the late Ralph Newans. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville for a visitation from 12 to 1:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Reta’s Life on Saturday August 7, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Reta, donations to Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
