I'm sorry to hear the passing of my favorite French teacher. When I had her as a teacher she was known as Mrs. Bishop but I can recall when she was getting married to Mr. Cleary. I remember how happy she was about meeting a very nice man at the time I was in grade 1.
I ran into Mrs. Cleary from time to time after school and even rented an apartment from her and her husband. She would only speak in French to me to keep me on my toes and to my surprise I could still answer her back in French.
My thoughts are with her and her family.
