Shan Kelso of Domville, passed away Wednesday, September 8 at Brockville General Hospital where she'd worked for 34 years. She will be forever missed by her husband John of 57 years, her daughter Andrea of Ottawa, daughter-in-law Mélanie Pagé, and grandsons, Derek and Kyle Youngman. She is also missed by her sisters, Lynda Irvine and Susan Steele, brother Cameron Fournier, brother-in-law Erwin Kelso, sister-in-law Keitha Polite, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Stan and Rose Fournier, step-mother, Jeanne, brother Doug, and sister Leslie. Shan served on many committees and boards, including the boards of the Ottawa Hospital and Carriage Association of America. She was past-president of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada, and was a founding member of the Eastern Ontario Pleasure Driving Society. Family and friends will be received for Visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The Celebration of Shan’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday September 17, 2021 at 11 a.m.; Interment to follow at Sandy Hill Cemetery, Prescott. In Shan's memory, donations to the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada, Brockville & District Hospital Foundation, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
