Entered into rest with his wife by his side on Saturday September 11, 2021. William John Spence of Athens age 79 years. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Cameron). Loving father of Kelly Watson (Greg) and Penny Almeida (Lloyd). Cherished grandfather of Paige, Rebecca, Logan, Troy and Cassandra and great grandfather of Madden, Diego, Jensen. Dear brother of Anna Johnston, Wayne Spence and brother-in-law Dale Cameron (Vicki). John is also survived by several nieces, nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ford and Rhea (Mullen) Spence, sister Helen Galway (Glenn), Marion Foxton (Ray), Forda Licht (Bob), brother-in-law Frank Johnston, in-laws Ben and Ruth Cameron. John was a former long-time employee at DuPont Maitland.
