Obituary of Sara Jeanne Lynds

May 7, 1963 - October 21, 2021 It is with immense love and sadness, but also with many happy memories, that we say goodbye to our beloved Sara - a loving Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt and friend. Born in Brockville, daughter of Ralph Lynds and Jeanne d’Arc Lynds nee Lamothe. Sara was pre-deceased in September 2011 by her loving father. Sister to Diane (Philip) and Barbara (Rodger). Cherished Aunt to Naythan (Michelle), Christoper, Austen and Caleb. Loved niece and a cousin to many. Sara led a full and meaningful life. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed when everyone was together; treasuring fun, laughter and good food. Sara attended Riverview School until the age of 21, following that was involved with community activities. Sara touched and enriched our lives in so many ways with her unconditional love and gentle spirit. She was a bright light for her family, and provided us with constant joy. Her smile was infectious along with her great sense of humour; you couldn’t help but fall under her spell the second you met her. Sara loved to travel. With her family, she went to the East coast on many summer vacations and had many great adventures. Sara was an avid bowler, potter, painter, musician and loved to practice sign language and complete puzzles. She immensely loved the outdoors and spent many afternoons helping in the garden and going on walks. God speed Sara on this your final walk. The family of Sara would like to thank Bayshore Nurses, Michelle, Kathleen and Lindsay, for their exceptional care and compassion. Extending our thanks to the Palliative Care staff, Michelle McCabe; Brenda Haggett, Chaplain; who made herself available and Karen GregoryAbbott, Care Coordinator; for Sara’s continued care while at home during her last few weeks. Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville provided countless hours of programming and support to Sara and her family throughout the years. Many thanks, also to the generous people who gave of their time and were a part of Sara’s life providing support, happiness and joy. A private family gathering and Celebration of Sara’s life will be held at her home. Following on our Sara’s kind, gentle, and giving spirt; in lieu of donations/flowers, we encourage you to pass forward an “Act of Kindness.” Sweet dreams LITTLE LAMB..........Your Daddy is waiting for his angel with open arms.
