After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, Brian passed away at his long-term care home with his wife Nancy by his side. Brian was a kind and caring father to his three daughters Beth (Rob), Heather (Jeff) and Kathryn (Frankie). One of the greatest heartaches of his illness is that he was not able to be the Grandpa he would have truly loved to be for Jacob, Connor, Blair, Ryan, Tessa and Brooklyn. Brian, fondly known as “Coach”, was a true advocate for education and the added-value of sport. Through his years as a PhysEd teacher, school board consultant, administrator, and coaching career, he had positive impacts on a great number of youth. In remembrance of Brian’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Sun Youth or the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation.
