Dear Barb Connie Dave and Family
We are so very sorry to hear of Romeo passing. Our heart goes out to you all. Romeo was always so kind hearted always had a laugh and good memories from B&D. There was hardly a time when I would go to town and I would see him walking, never wanting a ride. I would tease him and say well if you hop in my car you probably wouldn’t get out and then tap me on my shoulder and giggle. Such a great man to have known. Jeff Ronnie Dawson

Dear Dennis and Families, my sincere condolences on learning of Romeo’s passing.
A respected, pleasant gentleman as well as a skilled, smooth hockey player and sportsman - in the proud realm of sports heritage of Brockville - for so many years.
Always friendly, interested and involved and, a pleasure to chat with.
I was fortunate to know him and appreciate his contribution to supporting and advancing sports for kids. – A gentleman, who will be remembered and appreciated by his many friends – for his legacy as an involved, dedicated contributor in his community.
Respectfully,
Alfie Read Gananoque

Dear Dennis, Connie, Joanne, Dale and Family
I was saddened to hear of you Dad's passing. I remember having to go to your parents house on Salisbury when I was a kid for after school care and the excitement when the backyard rink was finally ready. If you couldn't get on the rink you could play road hockey in the driveways. I recall having fun and there being a lot of kids around. I haven't called Brockville home for many years but on numerous occasions I would bump into Romeo when back home for a visit. I last saw him in spring 2012 at my Dad's Memorial Service. The smiling happy Romeo I have always know. He will be missed.
Love and Prayers
Brian and Belinda Gray (Calgary)

To the Lanctot Family . sorry for your lose. Romeo always had my respect .couldn't ask for a better person, He will be remembered as a great supervisor at Black & Decker he always took the time to listen and give the respect you needed. I had a chat with him not long ago at Shopper's and a few laughs about the good old days at B&D . Asked him if I could give him a ride and he said no thanks thats how I stay young . What an inspiration for people to get off the couch and start walking. He will be missed ! Glenn Crowder

Dear Dennis, Connie,Joanne and Dale,
It is with many treasured memories of your Dad and Mom that we read this very sad news about your Dad.Our days together in those backyards on Bisley and Salisbury when all of you and our guys were young with the Plunketts and Lisa and Tina were such great years. Your Dad and Garnie spent many cold winter evenings out in the back yard flooding a rink for everyone. Your parents were the best neighbours and the times we shared together will always hold a special spot in our hearts. May the memories that each of you cherish and the love that you share as a family bring you comfort and strength now and in the days ahead. We wish we could be with you on Friday but Garnie is recovering from surgery. Our thoughts will be with all of you.
Our heartfelt condolences,
Garnie and Janet, Richard, Kevin and Bryan
