Entered into rest with family by her side on January 6, 2022. The former Phyllis Helen Dunster (nee Vickery) aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late John H. Dunster. Loving mother of Samuel Dunster (Brenda) of Mallorytown, Nancy Breitenstein (Frank) of Oxford Station, Douglas Dunster (Jean), Paul Dunster (Nicky) both of Mallorytown, William Dunster (Lisa) of Lyn and Allen Dunster (Claudette) of Frankville. Cherished grandmother of 14 and Great-grandmother of 17. Phyllis is also survived by her siblings Dorothy Ferguson (Late Merrill), Frances Halfpenny (Wayne), Fred Vickery (Shelley) and a brother-in-law Ivan Cross as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Mildred (Hudson) Vickery and a sister Freda Cross. Phyllis interests’ centered around her family, she kept busy with her quilting and knitting premie outfits for the neonatal unit at Kingston General Hospital. Phyllis enjoyed her lifelong fellowship of Christ United Church, Lyn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to “Bees Knees” quilting group and her prayer group. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Monday from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held in the Chapel with interment at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis, donations to Christ United Church, Lyn or CHEO would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
