Entered into rest with family by his side on Saturday January 22, 2022. Robert Alexander Carey of Lansdowne age 82 years. Beloved husband of Irene Carey (Laporte). Loving father of John Carey (Sandy), Kim Coultes (Paul), Debbie Coultes (Jason)and Wendy Schleger (Andrew). Bob is survived by his 10 loving grandchildren, his sisters Anita King and Judith Cox (Rod) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Irene (Eves) Carey. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian will be celebrated St’ Patrick’s Church on Thursday February 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In memory of Bob, donations to the Lansdowne Agricultural Society or St. Joseph’s Breakfast Club would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. We would also like to acknowledge the care received by Dr Mousa and the nurses and staff at the Wingham and District Hospital and thank them for their care.
