Entered into rest at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Sunday August 3, 2014. Beverly Margaret Backes age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late John Backes. Mother of Andy Gordon of Ottawa. Loving Grandmother of Chris and Amber Gordon of Brockville. Step-mother of Connie St. Germain (Carol) and Step-grandmother of Sara Ducharme (Joey) and Jy St. Germain. Beverly is also survived by her siblings Gwen, Hubert and Roger, a daughter in law Lisa Gordon of Mallorytown as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by an infant daughter Hope, her parents Kenneth and Mary (Root), siblings Edgar, Geraldine, Garth, Ken and Bryce. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E., Brockville on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service in celebration of Beverly will be held in the Chapel on Friday August 8, 2014 at 1:00p.m. Interment will be held at Mallorytown Cemetery.
