Entered into rest with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday February 6, 2022. Maurice Steven Avery of RR# 3 Brockville age 92 years. Beloved husband of Florence (Earl) Avery. Loving father Steven (Shirley), Ron (Linda) and Ray (Jennifer). Cherished grandpa of Tara (Jeff Risi), Lane (Charles Girouard), Colin, Hillary (Chad Legault), Jenna (John Fanous), Mike (Melissa Colquhoun) and Joanna (Andrew Haggith) and great grandfather to 10 greatgrandchildren. Maurice is survived by a sister Mary Lou Porter, and a brother-in-law Howard Williams and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Rubert and Myrtle (Stevens) Avery, sister Judy Williams, brothers Wallace and David Avery. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all staff and the Brockville General Hospital ICU for all of the care given to Maurice during his time there. A Celebration of Life and Interment for Maurice will take place at a later date.
