Peacefully entered into rest at the Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville on Wednesday February 9, 2022. Vera Jane (Shannon) Chappell of Brockville aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Chappell, loving mother of Ray (Patti) and Randy (Suzanne) and the late Cathy Shipman. Cherished grandmother of Derek, Brandon, Ryan, Holly, Austin; great grandmother of Raelyn, MacGregor, Cameron, Taylor, Reid, AJ, Schyler, Rebeekah, James, Parker and Fionn and great great grandmother of Aubree, Octavia, Carson and Mateo. Vera was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Violet (Dukesbury) Shannon. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, Friday February 18, 2022, from 1 – 4 p.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
