Peacefully at the Hellenic Home for the Aged in Toronto, on Saturday February 19, 2022. Evagelia (Panelas) Garaganis formerly of Brockville aged 93. Beloved wife of the late Georgios Garaganis. Loving mother of Angela (Tom) Slade of Iroquois and Penny (Jeff) Hill of Toronto. Cherished yiayia of Bill (Alisa) and Evan Slade, and Rob (Mariana), Kevin and Jason Hill; and cherished great yiayia of Lincoln Hill. Dear daughter of the late George and Penelope (Klonaris) Panelas; and sister of the late Phil, Dimitrios, Kostandino, Maria and Fontini. Eva will also be sadly missed by her in-laws Evangelos Trakas (Maria), Carole and Efthalia Panelas; and by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Saturday March 5, 2022 from 10a.m. to 12 pm. Immediately followed by the Funeral to be Celebrated at the Greek Orthodox Church, 206 Perth St., Brockville, at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
