I am so very sad to hear the news of Bev's passing. Bev was a part of our family for many many years. My father Bill Robertson coached with Bev the purple Pirate's Football team and taught in the same TISS halls for 30+ years. Our family home on the mighty St. Lawrence was a gathering place and Bev was a fixture. From grey cup game parties, summer boating parties and just to shoot the breeze - Bev was invited! My family all loved him dearly. My dad spoke of Bev and reminisced stories over the years and you could see they had a kindred friendship built on respect and trust. Sadly, we also lost my father in 2009. The memories I have of growing up, surrounded by my dad's buddies and colleagues, were some of the best. My name is Bev also. Your Bev use to joke with me that our name was the best name ever given to anyone and at 11 years old - I believed him!. I send my deepest condolences to all of Bev's family. His flame will continue in the memories of his family and friends forever!
With respect, Beverly Ricardo (nee Robertson)

My Condolences to the entire Clark Family.
RIP Coach, you touched many hearts during your time. I will cherish all of the memories I have about you. We had many beers while discussing my play on the field each week. You were quick to tell me where I went wrong, but even quicker to not just tell me how to improve but also explain why to do it that way. You not only taught me to improve my football skills, but also the many life skills you taught me along the way. For that I say " Thank You". Coach, Until we meet again some day, Rest easy my friend.

I knew Mr. Clark as "Coach". He was my grade 9 home room teacher in 1972, my wrestling coach for a couple of years and my football coach and grades 11, 12 & 13.
Mr. Clark had a way of making his team's fun to be a part of.
In my 3 years of football We went to the championship game 3 times and won it twice. In football he had as well versed in the fundamentals of the game. I know his teams produced many players who went on to excellent University careers.
Thanks for the memories coach.
Rest in Peace.

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of Coach Bev Clark.
Bev was my football coach from '77 - '80, and also my gym teacher for a lot of it. He instilled a great sense of competition and drive in all of us. For example I broke my finger once in a game against BCI and he made me walk to the hospital in my equipment, get a splint, and put me back in! Suck it up Reside. I'll never forget that voice on the sidelines either. I think he must have carried spare pens for the ones he broke on his clipboard. It was good to get to know him a little bit socially in those years after high school. He was always happy to hang out with his boys!
RIP Coach. We'll all miss you.

Bev was my basketball and football Coach in the early 80’s. I remember he slapped my face during a timeout in a basketball game against BCI. Totally deserved it! A lesson I learned in respect that I carry with me today. God bless Coach and his family.

Bev was my neighbour on Hillcrest Dr when I was growing up, and my parents both taught at TISS, with Bev. I looked up to him like a super-hero, as his football teams always seemed to win the big game. It broke my young heart when the most beautiful daughter one can ever imagine Brooke died. Bev was dealt an unfair hand more than once, but always seemed to remain positive and always loved TISS and his friends. When I would run into him in Brockville, he would always tell me how tough my dad was! I will certainly miss Bev and wish his family all the best.
