Mary Theresa Filson (nee Murchie) passed away March 26, 2022 at the Fox Run Retirement Home. Mary was the oldest child of Ruth and Joseph Murchie of Kingston. Born April 8, 1941. Mary married William Filson on October 30, 1965 and they shared a wonderful life working on their farm in Lansdowne. In their later years, they moved to Gananoque where they enjoyed life with friends and family. Survived by her brother Vincent (Bonnie) and her sister-in-law Ardeth (Don), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, siblings John (Olena), Joseph (Sandy) and Anne (Les), brother-in-law Bob (Bernadette). A very special thank you to Mary’s niece Stephanie Filson for caring for Mary over the last several years and to the staff at the Fox Run and the Dialysis Unit at the Kingston General Hospital for their kindness. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Mary, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
