Obituary of Ron Smith

Ronald Smith passed away on May 24, 2022 at the Brockville General Hospital. He was to celebrate his 82nd birthday on June 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores on May 14, 2020. Ron is survived by his brother Danny Smith. Ron and Delores leave behind their son Bill Murphy (Laura) and granddaughters Rachelle (great-granddaughters Kaija and Elli) and Char; daughter Tina Struthers (Les), granddaughter Katie and grandson Trevor; son Kevin Murphy (Cheryl), and granddaughter Krista.

A small gathering will be held on July 5, 2022 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland at 1:00 pm, when Ron will be laid to rest alongside Delores. In memory of Ron, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
