Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Thursday, December 27th. 2007, the former Bessie Christina Douglas of Brockville, age 89. beloved wife of the late Ersol Murdock. Dear sister of Velma Francis of Winchester, Thelma Bouck of Williamsburg and Bill Douglas (Eleanor) of Winchester. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special nieces and nephews Elaine Bouck and Robert Taylor of Brockville, Cathy and Denise Dube of Carleton Place and Winston and Sharon Holmes of Ottawa will deeply miss Aunt Bess. Predeceased by her parents Percy Holmes Douglas and his wife Robina Ferguson Bremner Douglas and a brother Ted. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 31st. 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Centennial Road Standard Church or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family
