Obituary of Barbara Kilgour

Entered into rest at the Royal Brock Retirement Home, Brockville, Ont. Wednesday August 10, 2022. Barbara ‘Bunny’ Ann (Whitty) Kilgour of Brockville aged 89 years. Beloved wife of Douglas Kilgour. Loving mother of Jim, Craig and Paul Kilgour (Heather). Cherished grandmother of Kurt, Kourtney, Katherine, Nicholas and Daniel Kilgour. Barbara is survived by a sister Clare Johnson, a brother-in-law David Geary, sister-in-law Muriel Kilgour and her former daughter-in-law Barb Kilgour as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Kilgour, her parents James and Hilda (Cliffe) Whitty, her brothers Jim and Charlie Whitty, and sisters Mary Stowinski, Hilda Geary, Noreen Catlin, Joan Johnston, Theresa Whitty and Camilla Stanford.

A Private Family Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, Brockville. Interment will take place at St. Brendan’s Cemetery in Rockport, Ontario. In memory of Barbara, donations to the Rockport Recreation Hall in Rockport, Ontario, rockportrechall@gmail.com would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
