Obituary of Leah Moorhead

Entered into rest at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on August 26, 2022. Leah Beatrice (Crawford) aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Alban Moorhead. Mother of Ruth Ralph (Dave), Tom Moorhead, Susan Lawson (Rick), Linda Phillips (Rolf) and  Connie Eddy (Terry). Proud grandmother of Dan, Andy, Tim and Chris, Ken and Jennifer, Lisa, Sarah, Angie and Jacquie. Mrs. Moorhead is survived by 13 Great-Grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moorhead was predeceased by parents Andrew and Ida (Prasky) Crawford  and her 12 siblings.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Moorhead will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022 at 11:00 am in Union Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Moorhead, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Messages of condolences may be made online at
