Obituary of Dale Ogilvie
Entered into rest at the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville on Saturday October 22nd, 2022. Dale Ogilvie of Brockville and formerly of Athens aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Grace (Brouwer) Ogilvie. Loving father of Amy Ogilvie, Derek Ogilvie (Laurie) and Alison Holme all from Brockville. Cherished grandfather of Austin, Genevieve and Juliette. Dear son of the late Dwight Sr. and Elsie (Cowie) Ogilvie; and brother of Marg Valcour, Betty Grant (Hunter), Judy Hook, Donnie Ogilvie (Joanne) and the late Dwight Jr., Danny and David Ogilvie. Also missed by in-laws Phyllis Ogilvie, Dini Craig, Henry Brouwer (Pat), Betty Russin (Laurie) and Chris Brouwer (Erin), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the St. Lawrence Lodge for their caring help and compassion given to Dale.
There will be a private family service held. Interment at Athens Hillside Cemetery. In memory of Dale, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville would be appreciated by the family.
