Ib was a great guy whom I knew well during my university days at Queen’s where he was for my 1st year in 1969-70. We kept in contact for the next few years before I moved away. Sadly, I lost track of him.
Along with good friend Dave Morton we had many great times together including driving out to the grease pole to throw tomatoes at the engineers who were attempting to climb the pole in a pit of liquid manure among other stuff - ha. I enjoyed meeting Shirley too on a number of occasions. She was the light of his life in those days & it sounds like she was until he died. Leslie and I wish Shirley & the family all the best at this time.
