Obituary of Gwyn Marlene Marriott

Gwyn Marlene Marriott, (nee Urquhart), February 21, 1953 – November 28, 2022, died at her home in Brockville after a weekend of holiday baking with her family.

Beloved wife of Colin Marriott for over 48 years whom she met while completing her degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo. 

Daughter of the late W. Spencer Urquhart and late Ruth Urquhart and she is predeceased by her sister Margaret McCracken.

Lovingly devoted to her daughters, Jennifer and Heather (Sean Cox), and her energetic grandchildren: Ivy, Ian, and Grace.

Gwyn was a voracious crafter, quilter, and basket weaver, and a dedicated volunteer with Scouts Canada and over 25 years at the Brockville Museum.

Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, ON Thursday December 8th, 2022, from 2:00 to 2:50 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. In memory of Gwyn, donations to  Canadian Wildlife Federation, or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
